What is FIPA?
FIPA – French International Program Association
FIPA was founded more than 30 years ago to support the French education program, when Miami-Dade County Public Schools created bilingual programs.
Mission:
Since then, FIPA has never stopped supporting the French International Studies Program in five Miami-Dade County Public schools: Coconut Grove and Sunset Elementary schools, Carver Middle School, ISCH high school and ISPA by leading actions such as:
Contribute to teacher salaries
Recruit assistant teachers from France (visa and living expenses)
Finance French’s teachers continuing education, certifications and faculty training
Assist in teacher recruiting
Purchase books, Ipads and computers
Organize French activities on and off campus: Cinémagique, Art Projects, families events.
Provide authentic cultural experience to our students, families and teachers
Share community’s news, French cultural events and services FIPA needs your continuing support with memberships, donations and volunteering.
